Deloitte have been a longstanding supporter of Paralympic Sport and are the Official Professional Services Provider to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London. In 2010, Sarah Storey was named their official Deloitte Ambassador and will now share her experience from five previous Games to give the firm’s clients and employees a special insight into what is required to achieve a gold medal performance, and to create an amazing Games. Sarah is also keen to champion Deloitte Disability Sport, an award winning programme which aims to drive participation and performance in disability sport to secure more podium finishes at future Paralympic Games. Sarah will also bring her perspective to the ‘Games Readiness’ of clients by helping them to understand the potential impact and opportunities a Games can create for their businesses. In 2010 and 2011, Sarah and Barney took part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain. This 9 day event took around 600 riders from John O Groats to Land's End, covering some of the UK's most spectacular scenery, whilst raising money for Paralympics GB.
